AQUATIC SUPPORTERS CLUB

The most ambitious aquatic project for the District that has ever been seen, the Caroline Bay Aquatic Centre will include:

Water Space

• 10-lane Main Pool, 25m x 25m, 1.4m to 3.4m deep, 27°C –     short course swimming competition, main fitness and leisure pool
• Extensive Warm Water Programme Pool, 17m x 12m, about 1.2m x 1.8m deep, 34°C -    hydrotherapy, learn-to-swim, “rest and relax”
• Toddlers Water, Leisure and Learn-to-Swim Pool, and Splash Deck, 32°C -fun and learn-to-swim water for both pre-school and primary school aged children
• Hydroslides (2 slides)
• Spa Water (for 20 people)
• Incorporates existing 50m Outdoor Pool

Support Areas

• Sauna and Steam Room“Wet” and Dry Café Areas
• Family Change
• In response to public demand, deep water (3.4m) has been provided in the Main Pool, which is suitable for recreational diving

Upstairs

• Fitness and Wellness Centre, plus Spin Room
• Multi-Purpose Activity and Meeting Room
